it's so good. Reasonable priced Italian staples. Great olive oil selection. Fresh baked and antipasto buffet by the lb. Great cheeses. Cheap pasta.

If you come here for anything, come for the cold cuts that are ALL imported! You won't find any Boar's Head junk here! This place has some real deal stuff, and you will more than likely buy more than what you originally ordered. If you are like me, and you eat with your eyes, you will easily spend over $50 on your first visit and all visits to come. Since I work close to hear, I usually call in my cold cut order and come to pick up in the afternoon. Be prepared to wait if you walk-in, as people usually stock up on all their Italian specialty favorites. From pasta to sausage, to candy to appetizers for your weekend get-together. The walls are littered with pictures and memories of years past and make great use of your waiting time by taking a peak at it all. This is a neighborhood staple that isn't going anywhere!

This place is Special! Family owned for generations. The current owner Jerry is the nicest guy and very good with recommendations and always offers a small taste of anything you're wondering about. Highly recommend the house made sausages and cheese- just great. New favorite Italian market.

If you want go somewhere for a great sandwich, friendly people and support a small, family-run business then Emily's Pork store is the place. We visit NYC every few years and seek out the non-commercial places for a more authentic experience and a visit to Emily's did not disappoint. In fact it was one of the best parts of our trip this time out. It is very small and there is no seating but that is the beauty of these old, but enduring deli/meat stores! There isn't even a menu because guess what? They will make you whatever you want or can imagine! Be creative and ask! Then, take your sandwich and an Italian cola and walk a couple of blocks down the street to a small park, sit in the shade and enjoy watching every day life in an old, but nice, safe neighborhood. It would be nice if they got a couple of small round tables with a few chairs out front, but just my thoughts and, regardless, we will go back again. These folks have been there for more than 50 years and could not have been more genuine, friendly and helpful. Serving up awesome, authentic Italian sandwiches with great customer service, Emily's is the place to go. If I lived here I would shop there for the large variety of authentic meats and cheeses as well as other Italian products that you won't find most places.

Delicious chicken cutlet sandwich, you hand them the bread and they make it right then and there. Didn't even have to tell the guy what I wanted on there, he hooked me up with the fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers.

The BEST Italian sausage. This place is great! Affordable, fresh, and most importantly... absolutely delicious. Just made a little meat sauce with a blend of fennel and hot Italian sausages. Oooo mama! My taste buds are having a fiesta!

Oh my god. We typically go to Anthony & Sons across the street, put if you want a classic sandwich - this is the spot. The sandwich was out of this world. And the people who work there, have always been there and are so polite!

A wonderful neighborhood butcher that sells the most incredible sausages, pork cutlets and fresh mozzarella cheese. Just a gem. I frequented this place when I lived in BK back in 02 and 20 years later it's still incredible. Wish we have one is LA

Such a gem! My first time visiting them was last week, met the owner Jerry, a great guy loved by his loyal customers with whom I enjoyed our chat and I got their fantastic homemade sausages (spicy and fennel). I came back for my lunch I tried their Italian hero he made for me - so good! Homemade sweet peppers were so juicy and meaty, mozzarella was so fresh and fluffy, generous amount of the perfectly cured meat, and the fresh bread! Thank you Jerry!! I also love this neighborhood - people are so easy-going, friendly, great mix of cool old-school shops and hipster modern shops.
